The CHR series features a wide range of loudspeakers with enclosures optimized to meet the needs of specific applications.

The range is completed by the Yamaha CHR15 speaker , which features mounting points for use in permanent installations. The CHR12 and CHR15 also feature dual angle pole sockets, allowing them to be used as temporary main speakers for sound reinforcement.

Custom designed converter

High-power woofers deliver powerful, clear bass with minimal distortion, while 1.4”* precision compression drivers produce accurate mid and high frequencies.

A sturdy, highly portable cabinet

The CHR series features the same plywood enclosure as our renowned CZR speakers for durability and superior audio performance.

Intelligent processing to maximize system performance

When used in conjunction with a Yamaha PX Series amplifier or other compatible signal processors, CHR Series speakers can take full advantage of dedicated speaker processor adjustment settings. (*Supported software is Ver1.63 or later.)

Dual angle pole mount socket (CHR15, CHR12)

Depending on the venue, your mix can sometimes be affected by low ceilings or other room characteristics that can prevent a clear, even mix and significantly reduce the audience's listening experience. The CHR15 and CHR12's pole mount socket offers two positions - 0° or -7° - to direct the sound energy away from reflective surfaces and towards your audience where it belongs.
