3 fireworks display locations for New Year's Eve 2025 in Ho Chi Minh City

In order to serve the entertainment needs of people and tourists to welcome the new year 2025, the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City proposed that the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism preside over and coordinate with the Ministry of Public Security and the Ministry of National Defense to grant permission for Ho Chi Minh City to organize fireworks displays on the occasion of the New Year 2025 .

On December 5, the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City officially sent a document asking for permission from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to organize a brilliant fireworks display to welcome the new year 2025 at 3 locations: Saigon Thu Duc River, Dam Sen and Van Phuc Urban Area.

A high-altitude point at the beginning of the Saigon River tunnel, Thu Duc City. Two low-altitude points are Dam Sen Cultural Park, District 11 and Van Phuc urban area, Thu Duc City.

At the high point at the beginning of the Saigon River tunnel, it is expected to use 1,500 high-altitude artillery shells, 30 low-altitude artillery batteries and 10 pyrotechnic batteries.

Two low-altitude locations at Dam Sen and Van Phuc Urban Area each used 90 low-altitude artillery batteries.

Fireworks display time is from 0:00 to 0:15 on January 1, 2025. The fireworks display will last 15 minutes.

In addition to fireworks, the city also plans to organize a countdown program to welcome the new year "Countdown Party" 2025 on the night of December 31 at locations such as Nguyen Hue walking street, Ben Bach Dang park and the Saigon River area.

In addition, districts 12, Tan Phu, Binh Tan and the districts of Binh Chanh, Hoc Mon, Cu Chi, Nha Be, Can Gio will organize diverse art performances on New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.
