After the success of the 2023 edition, the summer on the Han River will continue to be lit up with the return of DIFF - Danang International Fireworks Festival, organized by the City People's Committee. Da Nang coordinated with Sun Group to organize.

A vibrant summer with "unlimited" creative fireworks nights in the beautiful coastal city is expected to have 8 participating teams , including 7 international teams from countries: France, Italy, Poland, Finland. Lan, America, Germany, China and the Da Nang team represent Vietnam.

Besides, a series of festivals and accompanying events are also held bustlingly from the top of Ba Na to the most beautiful beaches on the planet, promising an endless WOW summer.

The first Da Nang International Fireworks Competition (DIFC) was held on March 29, 2008, on the anniversary of the city's liberation, and was the first time people and tourists could watch a fireworks display set to music.

In 2017, the city changed the name of the competition to the international fireworks festival (DIFF) with the organization's budget being socialized. During that journey, the DIFF International Fireworks Festival has become a highlight event, making the Han River city the center of festivals every summer.

2. Competition schedule for the 2024 fireworks festival in Da Nang

The 2024 Da Nang International Fireworks Festival is expected to have 5 nights of competition, including 4 qualifying nights and a final night for the audience to enjoy.

• Danang Fireworks Festival 2024 has the participation of 3 rookies

The People's Committee of Da Nang City said that in 2024, the venue for DIFF will include: Han River port area (shooting ground) and Tran Hung Dao street sidewalk area (art performance organization).

In addition, DIFF 2024 is expected to have 8 participating teams, including 7 international teams: France, Italy, USA, Germany, Poland, China, Finland and the Da Nang - Vietnam team. In particular, in DIFF 2024 there will be 3 rookies from countries: America, Germany, and China participating in performances and competitions for the first time.

• It is expected that DIFF 2024 will have 5 competition nights

According to information from the People's Committee of Da Nang City, it is expected that DIFF 2024 will have 5 competition nights. Specifically: 4 qualifying nights and a final night for the audience to enjoy.

The opening night is expected to take place on the evening of June 8, followed by fireworks nights held every Saturday night in the following weeks (one week off before the final night). The final night of DIFF 2024 will take place on July 13, 2024.

On each night of the competition, teams will have 20 minutes to perform fireworks displays according to each night's theme agreed upon by the organizers, to light up the summer by the Han River.

Specifically, the teams' expected international fireworks display schedule will take place on the following dates:

June 8, 2024: Qualifying round

June 15, 2024: Qualifying round

June 22, 2024: Qualifying round

June 29, 2024: Qualifying round

July 13, 2024: Final night

Each team will have 20 minutes to display their amazing fireworks displays, according to the theme of the nights previously given by the organizers.
